How can I register and apply for a permit?
Please refer to the Staff Parking page on The Hub for full instructions on how to register and apply.
I have not received the activation code when trying to register, what can I do?
Your activation code will be sent to your SWR work email account, please check you have entered your email address correctly and that your email box is not full.
I have forgotten my password, how can I reset it?
Please use the link on the login screen and select “Forgot your password”
Can I use a personal email address to apply for Staff Parking?
No, we are unable to verify your identity if you do not use your staff email address.
How long is my SWR Staff Parking permit valid for?
Your permit will not expire unless you leave SWR or change job roles. If your new job role has different parking privileges, you may need to reapply – please contact us to check.
How many vehicles can I register for staff parking?
You can register up to 3 vehicles, however only one may be parked at any time.
How many stations can I park at?
You can apply to park at up to 2 stations, excluding any restricted stations. Drivers and Guards may apply for up to 3 stations. Restricted stations may only be used by staff based at that location.
Can I park as soon as I have registered and applied for a permit?
No, you must wait for an email approval before parking, this may take up to 14 days. If you need to park before receiving approval you must pay for parking at the public rate.
I have changed my vehicle, what do I need to do?
You can add or remove vehicles by logging into the Portal. Any vehicle changes will take effect immediately.
I need to change my permit location, what do I need to do?
You can apply for a permit at an additional location by logging into the Portal. If you have already reached the maximum number of locations you are permitted, you will need to remove a location before applying for a new location. Please note approval for any new location may take up to 14 days.
Will this system change my car parking privileges from what I had on the old system?
The new staff parking system does not change any existing car parking privileges, however you must apply for your parking permit in the new system for it to be valid from 1st July 2025.
Why can’t be existing permit be transferred to the new system?
The new system is provided by a separate supplier and there is no technical means of transferring your data between suppliers.
I have received a Penalty Notice, can I get this cancelled?
If you had added the correct vehicle registration to your account and received approval for a permit at the correct location before parking, please use the contact us link below and provide full details. If you parked before receiving approval for your permit, or had not entered the correct vehicle details, the Penalty Notice is payable.
I don’t have an SWR email address, how can I apply for a permit?
All SWR employees are provided with an SWR email address; if you awaiting an email address please contact your line manager. If you are not an SWR employee but have been advised you may receive complimentary parking, please use the contact us link below.
Do I need to display a permit or anything else in my vehicle?
No you do not need to display a permit in your vehicle. Any notes in vehicles will not be observed when enforcement is being carried out and vehicles may only park after following the correct process or paying for parking at the public rate.

How long is my permit valid for?
Your permit will be valid for 12 months from whenever you apply; you will receive a reminder to renew your permit approx. 1 month before the permit expires.
How many vehicles can I register for staff parking?
You can register up to 3 vehicles, however only one may be parked at any time.
How many stations can I park at?
Signallers may apply for permit for any locations you are based at.
MOM/LOM may park at all stations for incident response only; permits are not valid for commuting.
Operational Staff based at the ROC or WICC may apply for one location only for commuting purposes, subject to restricted stations.

If you are not a NR employee but have been advised you may receive complimentary parking, please use the contact us link below.
